Burrito Beach - side

This used to be our favorite spot in Illinois Center On Thursday’s. Our paint shop used to call it taco Thursday. Well we went December 1st. They cut down the size of the tortillas by a lot. 6”.to 4” and the girl actually is counting the amount of steak pieces she puts in the tortilla. Would have paid a higher price for the same amount of food before. Now the same price for less. GOOD BYE.

Menu clearly says “Gluten Free? We have options. Please ask!”. So we asked about gluten free options and none of the employees had any idea what we were talking about. We left and will not be back.

I'm only in Chicago for a couple of days a year. Visiting this small chain of restaurants is definitely a must for me. At least as good as Chipotle, if not better. Slightly different flavor from the big chain. Loved my chicken burrito bowl. Workers were enthusiastic and restaurant was clean. Wish I could bring them home to NJ with me.

My first time here and will definitely be my last. There wasn’t anything outstanding. They also do not have pic de gallo. It felt like I was being served a school cafeteria.

Great stop for lunch after a morning of walking! Good price, good amount of food, shrimp fried fresh in front of you.
