Worst experience ever. Took forever to take my order and I was literally the only one in the place. Coffee was cold. Chilaquiles were chips with almost no sauce. I ordered eggs on the side and they forgot to bring them. I basically didn't drink or ate anything but they did charge 15 dollars....... Really??? I'm not going back to this awful place ever. I was wondering why there's nobody having brunch there on a Saturday morning.... Now I know why.
It was a wonderful restaurant, but sadly, we learned that it closed permanently yesterday. Such a shame.
On a whim, we went to Cantina 1910 on a balmy summer Sunday evening, which we hadn't been to since shortly after it opened. We were ready for a good meal, but we were amazed at enjoying one of the best restaurant meals we have tasted in months. My mouth waters thinking about the fish wrapped in banana leaf, steamed with hominy, both whole and made into a creamy concoction. It was amazing! Thanks to the waiter for suggesting it. Ceviche was fresh and very tasty, and we were surprised when the waiter recommended a turkey carnitas taco, but it turned out to be flavorful, moist and delicious. Leave room for the Tres Leches dessert. Not traditional, but very much worth the calories.
Food was good to great. Server was top notch. Front end staff. .including mgr...a waste.
