The delivery process was smooth; the restaurant is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from my house, and the pizza arrived hot and inviting.Taste-wise, the pizza was delicious with a commendable flavor profile, especially since the sauce wasn't overly sweet, which suits my palate. However, the sauce distribution was a bit sparse, and I found myself wishing there had been just a bit more to complement the generous toppings. The toppings themselves were a high point—robust and well-prepared.My main critiques are regarding the crust and thickness. For a tavern-style pizza, it was slightly thicker than expected, straying a bit from the traditional ultra-thin base I was anticipating. Additionally, the crust texture was on the dry side, which detracted somewhat from the overall enjoyment. In retrospect, I should have added pepperoni to the Cipriani's Special, which might have elevated the experience. Despite these minor issues, I believe this is a solid choice for anyone craving a classic tavern-style pizza. I'll definitely be ordering again, albeit with a few tweaks to better suit my tastes.
Best pizza in Chicago. if you like Geordanos you will love Cipriani's
The pizza was amazing. Everything you want in a Chicago Deep
Love the neighbood pizza feel. The older woman with accent at the counter was very kind. The sausage thin crust pizza I had was
A good neighborhood pizza place with a decent menu. They have 5 booths in front and some tables in the rear. I had a side salad and small pepperoni pizza (not hungry enough for a deep dish one). Pretty good.
