Awesome place. Great food. Loved the decor. Will be my routine stop whenever I'm in Chicago.
Decided to eat here on a whim, after seeing people standing outside I thought, well, it must be good. So glad we took a chance on it because it was delicious! I got the brisket sandwich and cobb salad (half size of each and both were amazing! Hubs was very happy with his corned beef sandwich and a side of latkas and kids ate off the kids menu. Everyone was happy and full with clean plates ; at the end of the meal. Don't go here if you are in a hurry, we did have to wait about 30 minutes to be seated and the food wasn't quick, but well worth the wait! Service was friendly.
This is my favorite place to bring people who are visiting from outside of Chicago. From food, service, and environment, this checks every box! The French toast is to die for and the Rubin’s Rueben are personal favorites, as well as any hard milkshake. Ursula was our server most recently and she’s amazing!
