Moda — Mediterranean/turkish Kitchen

We take just black tea pot and it wasn't that bad.the prices are over numbered even for lakeview. but if everyone okay with the prices idc:D

The food itself isn't that bad, but it's way overpriced and overhyped. It doesn't represent turkish food at all — My doner had BARBEQUE sauce, the bread was soggy, and the baklava was a third the size my grandma used to make at home while tasting like artificially sweetened maple syrup(and costed $6).

I'll start with their emphasis on creating awareness for Turkish culture. They are great in this regard: their photos, their wallpaper, the staff, and the ambiance of the store is pleasing. However, the portion sizes for the food along with the quality of the food is very, very subpar. For the price and hype, I would much rather take my money to any other Turkish restaurant (besides Turquoise Cafe, another story) than to eat at Turkitch.
