Went to Mom’s last night for the first time and I had a lot of fun and they had great live music! The reason for the 1 star is that I was kicked out for being rude to the bartender(which I was) simply due to the fact that she was VERY rude to me right off the bat. Maybe she was having a bad night, but she immediately called the bouncer over and that led to me being asked to leave. Fun little place. Bartender's are friendly and helpful. Food was decent as well.

Dusty bar that charges cover to everyone. This place is filled with dudes cause they make girls pay a ridiculous 10 dollar cover. You can get into clubs in River North that don’t even charge a 10 dollar cover

Owner has a serious temper and I felt extremely uncomfortable around him. Ladies be careful. Response to owner: Older big white male with a beard claiming to be the owner. I’m 100% sure I did not get the place wrong.
