Shaw's Crab House - side

I dined in this restaurant last night while on a weekend trip to Chicago. The food was awful, crab legs cold and overcooked. Steak was terrible, no flavor and overcooked as well. Our server was very nice and attentive. But the food itself was poor quality, cold, overcooked, and not worth what was paid. I was extremely disappointed in what should have been a wonderful fine dining experience.

Amazing old style place, food is fresh and delicious, waiters are super nice attentive and friendly as well as knowledgeable, definitely recommend this place!

I thought the folks I was with were going to eat all the oysters and lobsters in the place.

Love coming back to Shaw's. Always good, love the swordfish that was just added to the menu. Will be back.

The new attitude and new chef leaves much to be desired. I Went here for a lunch meeting with the team and the cat food they served was less than edible we sent two of the “salmons” back and was still charged. I was embarrassed because I recommended this place. The seabass was great but when we showed and discussed the salmon with the manager they gave us some crazy excuse as to why it was mushy and looked like cat food.
