They told us right away when we walked in that the cinnamon rolls were just out of the oven would be a 10 minute wait and they nailed it. Obviously worth a trip because people were calling ahead to order their batch.
Fantastic cinnamon rolls. They are huge, delicious, great for sharing.
From Estes Park or Loveland you can enjoy enjoy the bucolic drive to Glen Haven on Rt 43. The stop at the Glenhaven general store is a delight. Not only do they have every souvenir you could want including beautiful goat wool socks, they also have unbeatable home baked cinnamon rolls with a thick dollop of frosting. And if you want something healthier, they also sell sandwiches. the staff is super friendly. There’s plenty of parking out front and picnic tables where you can enjoy a quick bite to eat.
I look so forward to getting up to Glean Haven every year, especially if it’s been a bad winter. Owners are awesome and the cinnamon are the best I have ever eaten. I enjoy the road trip, I get up there at least twice a month. It’s to bad one person had a cinnamon roll that was hard but I’m sure the owner will give you some fresh one next time you’re up that way.
We have been purchasing cinnamon rolls for 24 years at this location. The cinnamon rolls today were the driest with the least amount of frosting we've ever had. They tasted like they were 2-3 days old and we put frosting on them when we got home 20 minutes later. We know it's day 1 for this season, but you made them before.
