High price for very mediocre food in a pleasant environment. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.
Tough to give 3 stars. Still at restaurant. Do not order the veal not tender and when accompanied by a butter knife could hardly cut through it. Burgers looked great!! Half of our steaks came out rare with medrare or medium orders. Drinks took 30 min to come out. We were a table of 17 and they assigned no assist server. Really wished for more.
The Wild Rose restaurant in downtown Estes Park, CO, was a very good dining experience for me and my husband. The Elk Medallions and the Raspberry Cheesecake were both very good! The waiter, who was just here for the summer from Serbia, was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our time there and recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Estes Park. Parking: There is parking available along some of the streets in downtown Estes Park, but we chose to park in the free parking lot that was located just down the street and around the corner from The Wild Rose restaurant.
We enjoyed our dinner so much we returned the next day for lunch! The food was delicious. For dinner we had the ribeye steak which was very reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. Also had the chicken schnitzel which was wonderful. For lunch we enjoyed the French dip. The atmosphere was relaxing. We were seated upstairs with a view of Elkhorn Ave. from above. Excellent service!
