The service, food, and menu here are the best in the area. I hope they consider adding more craft beers to their selection, but their food offerings are consistently excellent, especially for such a small dining space.

I really enjoy this restaurant for its excellent customer service and wonderful atmosphere, but the quality of the food can be inconsistent. I often order the beef nachos, which are tasty, but about half the time they skimp on toppings beneath the top layer. Additionally, the edges are consistently overcooked. I would love to give them 5 stars, but the food just doesn't meet that standard often enough.

Every time I return home, I make it a point to visit Village Hide-A-Way! The food is always exceptional, and the service is outstanding. They likely offer some of the best prices for food and drinks in the area. It’s also an ideal place to catch your favorite sports events. There's usually parking available right in front, and if not, there's free parking just around the corner. Although they tend to be busy, they never compromise on cleanliness. This past weekend, I tried the Smashed Turkey Grinder, and it was amazing. The toppings were fresh, and you can tell it’s not your ordinary deli turkey. The fries were cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend adding a side of their homemade ranch! If you're in downtown Vicksburg, you can also enjoy the Vicksburg Social District, where you can grab a beer and stroll around downtown.

Showed up and was told 15-20min wait. 45 mins later they had sat 3 other tables of people who appeared to be regulars before us. But when we asked they said it was just normal, but they had a hand written notebook with the names on it that was out by the front door so was obviously their names were after ours. Their food is good but not worth the quality of service provided at all. Saw other groups leave from similar quality of service as us.

The food is always good. The place is always packed, so get there early for dinner. It's not fancy, but a great place to grab a sandwich and a beer,
