Osteria Al Palchetto - SIENA

Our first dinner in Siena on this trip, and we were looking for someplace where we could sit outside and enjoy the lovely spring evening. We tried the place next door which was fully booked, so we settled on this place, which was empty. They had a nice menu, and it was on a very quaint street, so we decided to give it a try. They had an interesting lamb dish, but they were out of it, so I settled for the risotto with pear, Gorgonzola, and balsamic. It was very good. My only disappointment was the indifference of what appeared to be the owners. We felt like we were interrupting their conversation and cigarettes. I'm sure I would have given them a much better rating had we been kindly treated.

My wife and I were visiting Sienna and didn 't want one of the typical tourist pizza restaurants in the square so we walked a little and came across 'Osteria Al Palchetto..... What a find ! Staff ... so good The Food ... even better Recommendation ... don 't think twice :

Simple pasta and risotto lunch with a house wine Ravioli was fresh and lovely Risotto with pear and Gorgonzola also fresh with a nice “bite” Get away from Il Campo and get better food than a pizza (although sure a very nice pizza) (more reasonable price) and watch the people walk by Only let down. Owners could smile a little more

Ristorante molto, ma molto, valore informale per il denaro in media.

Io e samanta abbiamo pranzato in questo piccolo ristorante in una piccola città vicino alla piazza del campo, il proprietario che ci ha anche servito super amichevole e divertente in scherzare e ci fornisce indicazioni, cucina nei media. il vino della casa niente male
