We were actually on our way out of town and suddenly had a craving for a pastry of some kind as it was too late for breakfast but too early to grab lunch and we weren't all that hungry. we were literally driving by when we saw the building and sign and decided to pull over across the street and walk over. i don't remember exactly what kind of small sandwich my partner ordered but they were pleased and it hit the spot for them and not being too full afterwards. i ordered the blueberry muffin which was delicious and they even warmed it up for me. We ordered the chicken pesto, turkey cranberry sandwiches, and fried chicken. The sandwiches were fresh and very flavorful. The chicken was crispy and tasty. The cheese croissant with strawberry was absolutely fantastic. It was salty, sweet, crunchy and chewy. Cannot recommend enough. The only thing I was not a fan of was the fresh squeezed lemonade. It was expensive and tasted like a mix. Not bad, just not fresh squeezed. All in all, I will be back to try the rest of the menu. Service was prompt and friendly, the establishment is clean and well decorated.

Poppy Cake Baking Co. Is a uniquely wonderful establishment. The quality, creativity and attention to detail is inspiring. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. Still working my way through the menu. I stop in occasionally to the tiny Arcadia shop. Wonderful coffee. Really good Americano.
