Feedback gevenThis is the number 1 recommendation on Tripadvisor so we decided to give it a try. The food is high quality (also diversified) but what stands out is the inside of the restaurant. If you are in Sighisoara and decide to eat here you won't be dissapointed.
Simona was the only barmaid waitress working at the restaurant. She is very Professional and soft spoken. We loved her attentiveness and attention to detail. The muscles, fettuccine mixed-anti pasta dishes were lovely. Simona recommended a dry red wine which paired perfectly with the food. Fine dining at it's best in Romania!
Everything about our dining experience was five star. The staff were friendly and caring, food and wine excellent. We came two nights in a row. Serving sizes are large. Food quality very good and overall a wonderful experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This restaurant had the best service of all restaurants in Sighisoara. The food was very good. Nice entrees and appetizers. Prices were ok even though they are more expensive than other local restaurants. The setting in the restaurant and hotel are very nice. The wine selections were not quite up to par for what I expected to see with the billing of a wine bar. If you are looking for the best place in Sighisoara then you should consider this place.
Chose this restaurant based on previous tripadvisor ratings and we can say we were not disappointed at all. Granted it was a Monday and the restaurant was fairly quiet but from the moment we entered and were seated at our window table we felt the magic. Our waiter was a charming young man, initially quite serious but once we made him smile he loosened up nicely. We had two martinis which were so nice we had two more. This seemed to please the waiter very much so I got the impression he'd mixed them himself. My wife ordered the Tochitura Dacica (chicken and pork sausage in a creamy sauce with polenta upon which sat some cheese and a fried egg). It was delicious, I had a taste! I had the chateaubriand. It came medium to well done, shaped like a standard Brit fillet steak and was absolutely wonderful as were everything it came with. I think in some previous reviews there was mention of tasteless potato mash and vegetables but I can only suppose the chef is a fan of allowing the eater to season the vegetables to their own taste. I'm with chef on this one. I applied a little bit of salt and black pepper and was more than happy. We would have had the Papanaș but on seeing it being carried to another table, from the size of it, we knew it would have been 'a bridge too far'. The other table seemed to enjoy it immensely though. Thank you all at Joseph T, our last night in Sighisoara had been made a very memorable occasion.
