Akira Hibachi Express - Siler City

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for hibachi. The shrimp is consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly. It's a wonderful place to dine.

This is probably the only place near me that actually fills a tray up for a good price. Absolutely recommend!

Food was on par with other Japanese quick serves I've been to. However, the wait was over 30 minutes on a Friday and we were driving thru wanting something quick but non fast-food. Definitely not quick, staff seemed overwhelmed. The eating area suffered as well with many tables left unclean during our visit. If you want some quick Japanese this place definitely isn't it.

At first I really enjoyed the food the service was okay in the beginning, but I feel like every place is starting to get ruder by the minute in the food serving industry. The last couple I've been the male cashier always has an AirPod in his ear, which i don't see how he can multi-task on getting the order as customer asked while having something distracting in his ear. The very last time I went back in December, I always order the usual hibachi chicken with veggies, which cost like $11 and some change, and I'll get their cold drinks to support the business, they tried to over charge me, even a customer told me while I was walking out that they charged them 2 fountain drinks they didn't ask for. Not very cool.

This is one of my favorite places! I enjoy going to Siler City, grabbing a plate of food, and quickly leaving.
