Pizzeria Roma - Silkeborg

So expensive but the food was so poor. Nothing Italian or unique. Except I never paid this much for a pizza they served me completely burned. Expected something at least fresh but taster just like any cheaper pizza. Except burned. At least the servers was kind. I was server a Cocio though. Open and unshaken with all the chocolate in the bottom of the flask. I assume the high prices pay for the building, not education or ingredients. At least we were full though dissappointed. No wonder there were so many seats free a friday night but I have no clue why their ratings are so high. Not coming back.

Not very good price-quality. Even for just a bottle of tap water you have to pay. Overall standard pizza and pasta. Bambini menu portion is way to big for a todler.

We wanted to have a dinner in Silkeborg that offered good value and we found this at Ristorante Roma Pizzeria. After a brisk walk to the restaurant in the rain we were welcomed by the owner and we ordered pizza, house wine and FREE water yay! The service was great and the pizzas were unique, tasty, authentic (we have eaten a lot of pizza all over Italy) and big. The wine was very good and too easy to drink. We opted to save some of our pizza for our walk to the “Heavenly Hill” the next day as this gave us the excuse to share a tiramisu to finish our meal. When we came to pay, we asked the owner if there was a charge for using a UK credit card as we had incurred an extra fee when eating at another restaurant in Silkeborg. The owner said that there would be NO charge and that to do so would be illegal. The pasta options are also good and the servings are large as we discovered when ordering take out the following evening.

Really great food, atmosphere and kind staff but we wondered about this wall decoration they had near the bar area.

Visited with a friend, i eat a very good and tasty chicken breast with vegetables. Also pizza seemed good, restaurant is very clean with fast service and very reasonable prices. Very kind people in a nice environment.
