Gilija - Silute

Cosy. Tasty. Good prices. Portion size a higher than average. Recommend. I've read somebody's review about tasty cheesecake. Will try it in the morning. Now I'm too full

The rooms were ok. There is a late night restaurant, which was a savior. There is a bible in every room, which is a bit strange. Wouldn't mind the entire collection of all religions holy and important books, and not a single one's. Room service was a bit soviet like. Parking options available, but you have to gamble if you win, you will get a very nice spot.

The place seemed nice,but service wasn't. We ordered few meals, so my child been waiting 40 minutes for chicken dish and after all when the girl came I asked when chicken dish coming,she just answered it's must be forgotten,let me check... I was so disappointed,so she asked me if we still want that dish! I said of course my child starving! So we got it after nearly 1 hour ... our meals all arrived on time except this one. So that was awkward...

The menu is not very creative, but ingredients are fresh, dishes are done well (pork, chicken, fish and fries were not overcooked). Staff was very nice. Very glad we are staying here.

Best place to stay in Šilutė. Great breakfast. Hotel room looks better than in photos.
