Two Loons - Silver City

The cook didn't bother to show up for work the day we visited, so the menu was limited to what the owner could cook while also serving the tables (burgers and pizza). Inauspicious beginning, but we tried the pizza- amazing! Not NY or Chicago or whatever, just a very good dough with plenty of good-quality toppings and tons of mozzarella to hold it together. One of the best pizzas I've had in years. Asked for a custom pizza for kids (lactose issues... mozzarella is not their friend) and not only did she come up with one, it was also quite good.

We stopped here after our chairlift ride for the fall colors. Very nice. Owner was there...friendly. Looks like lots of tables for groups to eat, although we did not. Very close to Porkies and the motel in Silver City. We did not stay long as we had more adventures to do that fall day. We will return. Check it out!

Other reviews said the pizza was really good so we had to try it. It was really good! They offered portabella mushrooms.....on pizza, the BEST!!!

Best pizza in the Ontonagon area! Great place to stop while doing a snowmobile circuit, skiing at the Porkies or pretty much any day of the week.

The food was amazing!! The staff was so friendly. We arrived 15 mins before it closed not know and they were so friendly about it!! The pizza was amazing and you can purchase a 6 pack for drinks to bring with you. If your nearby you should stop.
