The atmosphere is intimate and earthy, making it a great spot for a business lunch, a casual dinner, or a fun night out. The prices are very reasonable, and the excellent food is certainly worth it. I highly recommend it!

A colleague of mine, whose daughter lived in East Africa for several years, recommended we try Abol, claiming it offers the best and most authentic Ethiopian food in Silver Spring. With at least a dozen Ethiopian restaurants in the area, that certainly set our expectations high. We were not disappointed!

The restaurant and the food love. the third person in our party had his first experience with ethopianic eating. he was not thrilled with the injera so he used a servier spoon to finish all foods and the portions are great! we all loved what we ordered! service was ok until we were ready to go and wanted the leak. there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant. she did the best she could.

Excellent Ethiopian food made according to tradition (one of the best Sciro 's in the DC area). Ideally located opposite Silver Spring 's AFI movie theatre, Abol has a vast vegetarian offering. Very friendly service.
