El Pollo Kiki Riki - Silver Spring

I went there mid morning on a Monday and the Asian lady who spoke excellent Spanish was very nice. The food, however, was gross. The yuca was old and extremely hard to chew. The chicken was also hard and dry. I wanted to give this a good review but was greatly disappointed with the food.

I really enjoy the chicharrón (fried pork) here; it's fantastic! I love this restaurant—it's nice and extremely clean. The food is tasty and fresh. You definitely should give it a try!

The service was friendly and welcoming. The green sauce had just the right level of spiciness. You can choose veggie fried rice to pair with your black beans, which is a great option. The yucca is served in large pieces for dipping, and the chicken is quite delicious.

Racist, stupid owner who doesn't like latinos and just takes advantage of the non English speakers. DO NOT EAT HEAR IF YOU VALUE QUALITY AND HEALTH.

This is the absolute best Peruvian chicken outside of Peru! Other standout dishes include the chicharrones, coleslaw, fried yucca, and crispy whole fish. The owner is wonderful and incredibly friendly, especially with our 3-year-old, who requests their chicken every week!
