As this being my first time ever stepping foot into a “Peets Coffee” establishment, I’m utterly disappointed. As a former “Starbucks Supervisor” of six years, this was not the “Customer Experience” that I’m use to. The cashier was great but as far as the barista handling my drink , I cannot say the same. It was as if he was Agitated or such. With my iced coffee order I simply asked for extra caramel drizzle. I watched my drink get made and no extra drizzle was added. So I asked if I could get the extra drizzle that I paid for mine you. He then waited for me to take my kid off and drizzled literally a dime size of sauce. In all of my years as a barista/ supervisor I was utterly disappointed and disgusted with the way I was handled. If I hadn’t had to be to work in 15 mins I would’ve kindly asked for my money back. Please do better with your baristas and express how important the “Customers Experience “ is. Thanks.
I always love stopping by this place for a quick coffee run during the workday or on the weekends. As some of the other reviews mention, the staff is truly what makes this place. Mark is one of the most personable and kind people I've ever met and works hard to bring joy to all of his customers. After all of the challenges we've collectively faced with the pandemic, it is great to start your day with someone like Mark who makes you feel valued and brings a smile to your face.
Today was my first time at Peet’s coffee store(Silver Spring). I am writing to thank the entire staff at this location. From the person who took my order, to the person who made my coffees to the person who greeted me on my way out. Today was one of the many difficult days as I had been up since 3am because of my infant. The entire staffs service just warmed my heart. The lady who took my order( I wish I knew her name) asked me if I had the app and she said the brightest thank you when I added a tip to the order. This encounter at the store has warmed my heart more than I can even express in words. Thank you to the entire staff at this location.
Usually never a miss here.Still the best coffee shop.4 stars because there’s this new guy with a bit too much sass in place of the enthusiasm I’ve typically experienced from employees in this establishment.Ordered bacon cheddar brioche— bacon was undercooked which isn’t usual here and when it is, it’s usually a quick fix. Said something and the gentleman in reference (currently stocking) got irritated with me before offering to put it back in the oven. I I also had a plant based sandwich in my order— which was left in the oven for quite some time but of course the same gentleman begins searching for who ordered it and I attempted to claim it. This guy pulled the sandwich to his chest and was like “PLANT based” ?. I said “right. It’s mine.” Then he acted like I was the one that caught the attitude lol.Again, OVERALL exceptional service and exceptional offerings. I’ll chalk this up to a momentary lapse in Peet’s standard of service.
