Feedback gevenThe A/C is absolutely terrible in the rooms. they will charge maintenance work and push around, but they know that there is no way to blow the A/C cold air if the unit is not in their room. I expect that if it is almost 100 degrees, they want their guests to stay comfortable. it would be great if the management could solve this problem, no one sweats even though they are at night! the staff is friendly and the valet is fantastic. read the others answer and notice that the A/C is a problem, I would not recommend in the summer months.
While the staff was very friendly and hospitable, the facilities were very old and dingy. the A/C units seemed to hang on a thread. set at 60f to achieve a 75F test. I didn't feel comfortable touching or putting my things down. I was grateful that I stayed only one night, and would definitely not stay again or recommend on the basis of the building, unless they have a huge rehab.
I only have bad experiences from this hotel. 83 degree from page 95 in my room and the air conditioning does not work. let them know the lobby (not even look at me when they spoke) and in the ground said nothing we can do. Wait. has not insulted to change the rood, did not provide compensation for the bad experience. they just didn't care! I didn't even want to refund after I said I wanted to move to various hotel \n nthey are the worst. I don't want to come to them.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would have been last night because of the flight delays our room was hot. we told the recipe, they sent someone to turn it off and turn it on again. we all took cold showers and tried to sleep. all inclusive of the baby woke sweating and none of us even used the leaves \nwe complained first on the morning. we said it was this side of the building and would affect all suits. they should fix someone, but if they can't, they would move us to the side of the hotel where ac works, but we would have to be good in two rooms. go out to spend the day. return at 18:30 clock and it is hotter than the night before / the morning. they say the recipe. they say they will send the engineer and tell us that we don't take hot showers as this will deteriorate the problem. what?! go to dinner, return almost at 11 o'clock it is hotter in the room. it is 81 degrees outside and it feels cooler than this room. hallways are cooler, so clear that the ac works somewhere. now they claim that the whole hotel is so and that our room is at 60 degrees. we lead our ac at 70/71 degrees to house and it is cold there is no possibility, this is even 80 degrees here. we have oma with us and a baby, this is abusive! I have booked this directly via hilton and am gold hhonor member. that is beyond inacceptable and that does not even go into the form in the shower, torn teppich between bedroom and living room, dingy condition of all \nDON’T stay here, even if it is free! at this place they should refund us and give us a room in another hilton hotel in the opposite way and we would just bring back to us
As a frequent Hilton traveler, this hotel is below typical Doubletree standards \nWhile the location is good, the service at this hotel is lacking. It’s also dated \nThe Lamp in my room was falling apart \nThe AC in my room wasn't working. Attempt was made, I called front desk nto explain it still was t working. I was told they would call me back. No call back \nit was only after I called a few hours later to cancel my second night that they seemed to care \nI don’t write reviews a lot, but would advise to only stay here if the price is really, really low and you cant find other Hilton properties available.
