Maynard's - Silverdale

This restaurant would be outstanding if they could get their shift changes between 4:30 and 5:30pm streamlined (they don't know which table each server covers. Seriously! . We would come in weekly on Fri's and have the same poor service experience. Sun's was no better. Usually different host or hostess, and different servers. Hostess would give us menu's, then server never materializes. We waited 20 min's most times, then had to go get the hostess and request a server. No other restaurant has this problem. We now go 5 min's away to waterfront dining, with impeccable food, ambiance, AND service.Hope they can iron out this wrinkle, as it is a nice place.

SUCH good food, reasonably priced for such quality, great atmosphere! Maynard's is our new favorite spot to do both brunch and dinner when we want to treat ourselves! The coffee is good, the drinks are delicious, and the food is outstanding! We're slowly working our way through the menu, and we've yet to find a dish we didn't like! The service has also always been great, we had Elisha serving us this morning and she's fantastic! 10/10, we recommend Maynard's to everyone we talk to.Dietary restrictions: The hollandaise sauce is dairy free which seems to be a rare occurrence in restaurants and is extremely exciting for me as someone who loves hollandaise and eggs Benedict but is lactose intolerant! Truly one of the biggest reasons we started doing brunch at Maynard's regularly.

All you can eat crab $69 plus tax *2 .Food was good service terrible. After finishing 2 and a half crabs I couldn’t finish about 3 legs worth I was full. Eyes a little bigger than my belly. I put my napkin on my plate with all my silverware and the bowl of spent shells all on top of my plate in a nice pile and pushed it to the end of the table for pick up. A few minutes later the server appears with my plate after unburying everything down to the bit of crab I couldn’t finish. He wants to know if I meant to do that and if I wanted to still eat it. Honestly I thought just for a second I was being pranked. I replied no, he then says “I would hate to see that go to waste, does she want it”pointing to my lunch date. She replied no. I’m pretty sure the 200 I spent was way more than what I couldn’t eat. Also I am one of a family of 9 so I didn’t grow up wasting food. What a terrible experience. I do not recommend unless you want to be shamed for leaving some food on your plate. Wonder if they inspected all the shells in the bowls I sent back to the kitchen.

If you have the opportunity to visit this restaurant, I highly recommend it! Justin provided exceptional service—attentive yet unobtrusive—while my friend and I enjoyed some much-needed catching up. We started with the beets as an appetizer, followed by a side salad, and the Maui Pizza, all of which were absolutely delicious. Thank you, Maynard's!!!

Food was outstanding. Great Mocktails which is always a plus for me. Service was fun. A bit slow but just like every where they are doing their best. Staff was kind and friendly. Beautiful building. I will be bringing my family back often.
