Feedback gevenNice little joint, good ramen and spam masubi. Apparently they also make Chamorro dishes but you have to follow them on IG to see when those come out.
Can't believe it's taken is so long to stop in here. Restaurant was clean well run. Food was delicious very fresh!! Will definitely be back!
Food is fantastic.Do not call to place pick-up orders. A staff member answered my call and berated me for calling during a busy period of the day (1:30pm Sunday) and explained that this takes focus away from customers actually in the store. I apologized, offered to hang up and place my order online but the staff member insisted that I place the order over the phone since I was already on the line. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I was pretty appalled by the unprofessionalism and disrespect shown to me as a some-what regular customer. The staff member apologized on their own but I'm not comfortable going back.
Musubi DisasterWith a name like Peter's Kitchen, and an elegant sign/logo, I thought this place would be the culmination of one man's dream and desire to make the best Hawaiian menu around. The food did not reflect this.Spam Musubi is classic a Hawaiian comfort food as there is. It's everywhere in HÌ from restaurants to gas stations. I used to grab a couple each morning on my way to work. So satisfying.Peter's version turned me off before ordering, as I saw that, instead of a full nori (seaweed) wrap, it had that short ornamental piece in the center only.The Spam itself was just warmed in a pan, not seared with crispy, browned Spam. This breaks the recipe. Not even close to what it could and should be.Final straw: no sauce or even furikake flakes to give flavor. There was no sauce under the meat, only what stuck to the Spam in the pan.2/5 because I resent 1/5 reviews.I'll come back, if only to try the poke bowls. I'll gladly add stars if I can.
Came here on my lunch break. 2nd table to order when they opened at 11am. After waiting 45min, still no food. We watched TONS of to-go orders go out the door. We, along with other dine in patrons inquired what was taking so long, and we were told the kitchen lost our orders. 50 minutes wasted here and never got any food! I understand mistakes happen, but they didn't offer any type of compensation or anything, so we just asked for our money back.
