Wooden Nickel Pub & Eatery - Silverton

We drove past this place a few times and saw that they had Slow Smoked Prime Rib on Saturday, so we decided to go... yeah nope will not be back.. We have the Poutine frits, and they were bland and had no salt. The severity was good, but there was a lack of cheese curds. Maybe at most 3 were decent. The rest was just crumbs. The fried oyster-po boy was okay. The lady looked at me funny when I didn't ask for a Koleslaw on my sandwich. I really like Koleslaw. The oysters were not very hot. Luke warm best My Bf has fish and chips and did not like them. They have a decent list of beers they could have used and come with a good beer scattered fish plate.. These are the cooked/frozen that you can buy in the grocery store. Nasty! We heard the Wooden Nickle Square in Sublimity is much better than this one in Silverton. We're trying instead. Win a 2 star and that was only generous because our server lady was very attentive and if she didn't know how to answer our question she would ask.

My wife and I usually like to come here, but lately it seems to go down hills. The last few times we come on a Sunday to have breakfast, people have allowed to play something really vulgar and obnoxic music on their jukebox, and it's way too loud make it even worse. We noticed that other customers who go to boxes and go after receiving their food. We heard them complain about the music. The staff said the remote control to the jukebox is broken and they were even annoyed with it, but why not just let go so customers can enjoy their breakfast? In addition, the bathroom was in the complete Desarray and flooded with water over the ground. We're not coming back to Sunday breakfast anymore.

Love coming back here together, good vibes and the ladies always make you feel welcome. Some of the best smokehouse food around.

The food was great and there was plenty of it. We all took home leftovers. The service was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was dark and cozy and it is a popular place.

Perfect small town bar. Good food, great service! My steak was over-cooked but everything else was so good I still give'm 5 stars! Try the bacon jalapeno Mac!
