O Cais Bistro Steak Boutique - Silves

The only thing that is ok in this restaurant is the kind staff. But the food is not worth what you pay and not well prepared. The kitchen has to improove a lot! And the waiting time, although the restaurant was not full, were extremely long! Never again. It is also too expensive for what it offer. Not advised!

Found this stunning little place along the river at Silves, Algarve. I have nothing but praise for the food, presentation and the friendliness of the staff. One of the best steaks I have eaten for a very long time. Well presented food served by friendly and competent staff.

We had fish n chips there Friday night. Very tasty good size portions. We will be going back to try other dishes on their menu. Very tastefully decorated, lovely table settings. Good service . Well worth a visit.

5/5 for food and service. This restaurant certainly knows quality ingredients and serves quality food. We could not fault a thing. My partner had goats cheese, main of Argentinian sirloin steak and apple pie. I had lightly curried king prawns followed by surf and turf and a delicious chocolate nutty dessert. We have not tasted food this fresh, flavoursome and excellent quality for a long time. The owner and staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food and warm am so much we are going back tomorrow!

Good service and great food. At the moment it is still relatively quiet in Silves so don’t walk by this restaurant. Even if it is not busy you will be served with a smile and great food. We had the satay for starters and curry, risotto for main course and I could not resist the ice cream for desert. We will back for sure.
