Pastelaria Tita - Silves

This bakery can look small, but it securely packed a stamp when it comes to its bread on the left is the bakery that still use open wooden bread ovens and they supply many local shops with bread and rolls. the owners are... an older couple and the lady has a passion for collecting teapots. I have visited many time for a morning coffee with toast and afternoon tea with a wide selection of homemade cakes. Price is low as this is a local village and not for tourists, great atmosphere and time to relax.

They bake bread, cakes and everything you would expect from a bakery. There is also a coffee bar and a seating area. Bread and cake are always fresh and coffee fresh. A beautiful place, but not really a restaurant.

Tita's is one of the most important bakeries for the village of Algoz bread is baked in the premises with traditional large bread oven, but wood is divided into two, with the smaller part is the main bread and cake shop. the other...half is a small café area with limited snacks included in roasted sandwiches. Ideal stop if you want a little snack.

I always consider a toastia and a coffee .. and a cake .. no discomfort, nice staff .. delicious toasties .. great coffee .. delicious cakes .. perfect!

Everyone in the village buys their bread here and and while doing so stop for a coffee. Despite being very much a locals place 'outsiders ' are welcomed with a smile and made to feel comfortable, A great stop for breakfast.
