After we spent a nice morning in the lock silves, we stopped here for lunch before we get back the bus to carvoeiro. we had both pregos (Portuguese bark sandwiches) and beer. ideal lunch break on a hot septemberday

There with 5 friends stopped at 4:00 a.m. the beautiful lady/waitress took care of us. the service was fast, efficient and nice. we ordered suppe (beans and pasta) and huh. all tasted great. ideal for local cuisine without the tourist entrance....Bill was <50 euro for 6 pax.

This is a great place to stop for a bite to eat; breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is in English and the pizzas all have pictures. If you need something made a particular way or without something you don't like, they are very accommodating....Everything is made fresh. There are usually 2 specials for lunch, 1 meat special 1 fish special. Fish that was swimming in the ocean the day before. If you don't understand what something is, they will take a dish from a known customer show it to you. If you are lucky enough to become a known customer, you have really made it to the top. Mostly locals eat here often sharing tables if there is not empty table. There is also a large outdoor covered area. You can get the special for about 5 euro that includes salad. They also have free WiFi
