I planned a birthday party which turned out nothing like we had agreed on. The party was SLOW and unorganized. I paid for helium balloons which I did not receive. The party took much longer than it should have which made it embarrassing when all the parents were waiting for their kids and NO gifts had even been opened. I also did not receive vintage goodie bags that I paid for and had to call and ask about them the next week. No one is returning my calls. When I asked about all these things Rachel was full of excuses and she wasn't responsible for any of them. Terrible business. Waste of my money.
We stopped in late Saturday afternoon after hearing raves about this place. We arrived to very little choices and very high prices. Purchased 4 little items to a total of 18 dollars. Got home and ate the chocolates and were disappointed as they were stale.
Okay, I admit my love of truffles, specifically champagne, or mocha, dark chocolate covered, will satisfy my chocolate tooth.BUT...the cupcakes here are also a wonderful indulgence, that you NEED to check out.
McFarland's offers customers a large variety of hand made treats. The hardest thing is to decide which ones to purchase. Awesome cupcakes ( cupcake minis are also available as a special order) , truffles, hand dipped chocolates and assorted candies. The place to go if you need a hostess gift, bridal or baby shower treats, or just a great dessert.
