Burger Express Fresh Mexican Grill

I stopped by this Burger Express place this morning to grab my lunch. I looked at their menu beforehand to see what I wanted. I saw they had a turkey sandwich so I figured I would order that. I found the place easily and there was ton of parking spots. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all and I was able to put in my order for the turkey sandwich and fries. I asked what was in the turkey sandwich and the guy working the cashier said lettuce, tomatoes, turkey and onion. So I asked for no onion, too bad it doesn't already come with bacon. I only had to wait like 5 minutes for them to make my sandwich. During that time I was just checking out their indoor seating and little bar area they have. I really like the fries here and they give you a lot. I thought the turkey sandwich was okay, it didn't fill me up and I think having bacon would've help a lot. Vegetarian options: They have salad and some other options here. I had heard that Burger Express had great Mexican food and decided to give it a try. My wife and I both got Tortas and they were amazing! She got the beef and I got the carnitas. They were huge, we could only eat half of them. The meat was delicious and the sandwiches were well put together. The best Torta I've ever had! This was an amazing find, if I hadn't been told I would have thought it was just a hamburger place. We will be coming back here many times. The owner came by and talked to us at our table and the service was superb. I highly recommend it.Update, I went back and got a Chile Rellenos. Fabulous!

This Family owned gem is an epic place for Mexican food, burgers, breakfast tacos and so much more. I 've been coming for years and everytime I fall in love and decide that THIS new thing will become my new usual they suggest something different and I love that new thing even more. The prices are fair and the food is always fresh. They have house made chips and salsa which is amazing and a full bar too!

Burgers, sandwiches and Mexican food. I tried that Simi Steak Sandwich...pretty good. Would get it again...after I try other stuff. I'll be back.
