Jersey Mike's Subs - Simi Valley

Been coming to this place for past few months (after another 'sub-way ' place was found 2 have alleged fake tuna..smh). The subs are great, only thing I cringe at is the cross contamination a few employees do: when the toppings that fall off the subs ontothe board they are prepared on, is thrown back into the condiments. Like lettuce that didn 't make it on the sub, falls onremnants of other meat, veggie particles etc is then picked up and thrown back into lettuce bin. I 'm all for recycling, butthis is one area where probs a better idea to throw leftovers in bin FYI #allergies #vegans?

Diners beware. Only go here if you really like a lot of oil, tons of lettuce, and practically no meat on ur sandwich. Mine was so soaked the bread was soggy and had so much lettuce it was 90% lettuce. Not to mention so much black pepper I couldn't eat it. My husband had a Philly and it was mostly bead with no filling. There were two girls in there and each one made our sandwiches separately. Neither no what they are doing. You're better off driving over to tapo and ordering from there because you will not get a good sandwich and for the price you shouldn't go here. Garbage service garbage food. Please retrain your staff. It's a disgrace to any sandwich place. I don't think this store should be associated with this chain. Shut it down.

Just had one of the worst experiences i’ve had at this location. From walking in and having the manager just look at me and walk away, to having to stand and wait to even be acknowledged by the girls behind the counter. Just basic courtesy was not even applied by anybody who worked there. It’s really unfortunate, but I will definitely be making the drive to the other location here in Simi Valley. If you’re going to act inconvenienced by customers, do yourself a favor and don’t bothering opening to the public tomorrow morning.

Staff is awesome, very energetic, and enthusiastic all the time. Always welcome everyone and run a great spot.
