Restaurant Cafe Zur Post - Simmerath

We both had schnitzel with fries and croquettes. Which both were very good. The sauce however tasted store bought. Both the mushroom sauce as the provencal sauce. Nonetheless was it still an enjoyable meal.

This place is nice. Love the staff. Friendly and helpful people. May be not the best food but pretty decent.

We ate cake one afternoon, sat outside in the October sun. the staff were attentive and friendly, the foot and wine excellent. On the strength of this we went back on another evening for dinner. The place was buzzing. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly and could not do enough for the mad English couple who had only bad German. The food was standard fare but the atmosphere and the size of the portions made this a memorable experience. If we came back to this area, we will definitely eat here again.

We arrived with a group of 16 people (50/50 adults and children). We were seated in no time. Got to order what we wanted without limitation. The service was very quick and tasty. And all of this for a very acceptable price. A very good address in the neighbourhood of the lake RuhrSee.

We went first fir lunch , the terras was very busy. We irdered drinks and they arrived quickly. Then we ordered our food, but we had to wait about 45' . Yes, the food was good, andvthe staff friendly. We came back the next day fir diner, becausevthey had game on the menu. Really good price/quality for the food, but to be honest, we hadvto be patient again, to get served.
