It was Thursday night about 6pm. I ordered the special, Turkey and dressing. Server informed me that they ran out of the Thursday special!
I place an order online and unfortunately for me, they messed up. I order a country fried steak to go. When I pick it up, no gravy for my steak! I notice after I left and was ready to enjoy my food. This sucks! I have to come back for the gravy. The worse its that I’m not in a car. So walk back the restaurant again. Also, no silverware on my order. Very disappointed.
After unknowingly ordering broccoli that contained gluten, I asked to see the allergen menu because I was sick. The waitress brought it over, and clear as day, the steamed broccoli contains wheat, soy, and gluten. My fault, I didn't check. The worst part was when the manager came over and DENIED the allergen menu, stating that the broccoli did not contain gluten. He was very short with me and left quickly. The company says it does! I was not looking for anything, I understood that it was my fault for getting something containing gluten, but the manager denying the allergen is going to get someone very sick or possibly killed! Thank goodness it wasn't a peanut allergen that he was denying! Terrible manager! Do your own homework if you have food allergies. Clearly, you can't trust the people that work here.
We love it. But this location could use some fixing up. Fences broken, definitely need some new cooks. The food used to be so much better. And the portions have shrunk dramatically. The employees are wonderful, but it really needs some attention from whoever is above that location. I feel like I have a 50/50 shot at getting great food now.
