It’s a family run restaurant with homemade typical food. They don’t have a fixed menu, it varies every night. We had the javali com batatas and the frango assado com batatas fritas. The portions were generous and the staff was incredibly nice. At some point in the night the cook came to greet us and make sure everything was good. The desserts were really nice also. Special highlight for the coffee cake, which had a special grandma touch. I loved it so much that I almost wanted to buy the whole cake. The only negative part was that it was mid-December and they keep the door open and there’s no heat, so it was pretty cold inside.
Grandpa at grill and grandma at the counter. Food is traditionally cooked in alentejo recipe. Definitely recommended
Decades of experience grilling fish and chicken. No wonder there was a queue for weekday lunch. Perfect. Muita obrigado.
