The baklava were served at ambient temperature, with just the right amount of sweetness. I wish it was served warm though, with a more pronounced buttery taste. It is chewy than it is flaky.
Having tried other Turkish restaurants, Arkansas definitely is amongst the better ones. It's located in a very nice setting, surrounded by greenery. The food taste similar to other Turkish restaurants but the meat is more tender. We tried the mixed grill and the Sultan's delight. The restaurant was crowded and service was slow. Prices were double what the old Google map photos had. But we enjoyed ourselves nevertheless.
Very prompt and pleasant service. I am not sure how Turkish food is suppose to taste but the dishes we ordered tasted very acceptable. Won’t mind going back again and will recommend… the only thing I didn’t like is the baklava which is too sweet!
I really enjoy Turkish cuisine, and I'm excited to visit your restaurant soon after this "free advertisement." Keep up the great work and don't let anything affect your cooking! Just an update: the food is indeed delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent.
The mixed kebabs were quite tasty, especially the lamb. We all enjoyed the kunefe, which featured fragrant, crispy strands of wheat pastry. However, the baklava was a bit too sweet for my liking. I really appreciated the balance of flavors in the sour-sweet apple tea. The Turkish coffee was decent, served in a lovely cup and saucer. The restaurant also offers beautiful greenery and "waterfalls," visible through the glass walls.
