I think the number of tables available are okay. lunch hour have to wait due to covid arrangements and limited seats. none peak shouldn't have issue with getting tables food: level 3 spicy is a good level to start. omelette is done correctly (I.e. Still runny Inside) and pork katsu taste good as well. is hard to go wrong with this franchise so overall will recommend this any day.
Ordered pork katsu mixed vegetables curry, spice level 3. The curry had quite a bit of kick and spicy, and the sweetness was very mild. The curry went well with the nicely fried katsu, though the vegetables were slightly on the tougher side. Rice portion given was very generous, but if you want to eat less carbs, you can opt for less rice with deduction in price. Price point was quite ok. Overall, a quick curry fix if you are yearning for Japanese curry.
Overall it's okay, but no free side dishes are provided, so compared with the COCO in Japan….still a far way to go. They implement strict government restrictions, even people in the same family need to sit far apart, instead of sitting nearby. But it’s good for your safety anyway.
I always love the curry here it has good consistency which is neither too watery nor too thick. You can choose the spiciness level of your curry. Apparently, level 2 of spiciness that I chose was a bit too much for me. The chicken cutlet had a moderate amount of fat in between the crunchy batter and the meat, which was just lovely. Price is still reasonable given the big quantity and good quality.
Finally got to eat my favourite Japanese curry rice after the branch at Westgate which was near my home closed permanently. There are more items on the menu now and prices have increased but still very reasonable. Glad that the curry is as tasty as before and I get to choose my spice level. Take note that Level 3 is quite spicy and not for those who can't take spicy food. Due to Covid they do not have the radish pickle jar at the table but you can ask for it.
