Located at B2 of Vivocity mall. Quite a big restaurant with ample seats. When I dropped by at lunch time, could see that the staffs were short handed. There were still many available seats but no staffs to bring the waiting customer to the seats. Could understand that the labour crunch has detrimental effects on the service standard rendered to the customers. The staffs had tried their best to work and to attend to the customers to their best. Different types of Japanese food available, sushi, sashimi, noodles and rice. The restaurant looked clean. Food was good. Maybe would be good for the management to incorporate online ordering system or automated food server to reduce the need for more manpower.
The restaurant offered a wide variety of food options. The cheese curry set was of a generous portion and the curry was flavourful without being overly sweet. My partner had an udon option and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the cheese sauce complemented the dish.
The food here is decent (4 stars) and popular with families and kids. Had to wait around 35+ minutes but overall okay. Sashimi fairly good quality and fresh and the kids enjoyed the kids meals. Don't buy the deep fried oysters that one too greasy and doughy.
This is by far the best comparing a few other outlets I went. Their Restaurants were equally crowded but here in vivo the foods were served pretty fast. One of their female staff who seem to know the restaurant menu well, even gave recommendation to the customer. Very nice attentive staff!
