Asked one of them to help us to take a group photo but end up having 9484288318 burst shots which make me super happy those who like to take candid shots can find him. My tummy almost burst after eating all the authentic Thai food. Om nomz nomz
Wanted to find some Asian food around botanic gardens instead of the usual cafes chanced upon this. Surprisingly authentic delicious Thai food. No ambience to speak of as it’s all alfresco dining beside the main road. very reasonably priced. The chicken basil was great the oyster kailan was very well stir fried with wok Hei. Fish cakes were good a lot of pieces were given for the price. Papaya salad was great with a decent punch of sour spicy flavors. It was sadly completely empty on a Saturday afternoon. Such a waste. Really hope things will get better!.
Tasty Thai food without the pretentiousness. Cash only. Singha beer at a four bottle discount. Al fresco seating that reminded me of dining street side in Bangkok. We had the green curry and Tom yum seafood and another lovely dish. Highly recommended
Super underrated Thai food!! Absolutely love the dishes at Lewu Cafe my favourite dish is the basil chicken rice (not pictured). The olive rice is also extremely fragrant. Prices are affordable and food is much better than those chain Thai restaurants. Highly recommended!
Food is Authentic. Basil pork priced at $13 a dish is reasonable and this dish was also very tasty. Tom Yum soup was quite bland but I liked it as it tasted like there was no msg (I'm only guessing) Iced Lemon Grass Tea was bland at $2.50 per glass. I tried Assam Prawn, was good but I find it a tat expensive. Green Curry was so so...I think $7 for a small bowl but the little brinjal pieces were succulent and fresh. Made up for the overall taste My favourite here is the Mango Salad. Light and refreshing. Not too much of fish sauce and not too salty too Forget abt the Mango sticky rice here..not worth the try...but cheap at $6. Overall I find this place laid back and nice , old school market style. But pricey for the small sized dishes they serve. I paid $64.50 in total. Oh!! and no receipts given. So please remember what you ordered ...otherwise end up like me wondering whats the next dish when there was none coming
