Miam Miam - Singapore

Had tea time here. Ordered the berry souffle pancakes, fried calamari rings and a single carafe of infused water. The service by the 2 male wait staff was good they were polite, helpful and very attentive to customers. The berry souffle pancakes were heaven! The pancakes were soft and fluffy on the outside but moist and warm inside (the inner texture was abit like steamed egg . They complemented the vanilla ice cream very well. The presentation was pretty too : The fried calamari rings were delicious as well, and the mayo with seasoning tasted great too. One small gripe would be that the actual calamari (once you get past the outer fried batter was actually very thin finely cut strips so I honestly don't think it's value for money. I loved the carafe of infused water filled with fresh cucumbers, lemon and mint leaves a simple combi but tasted so refreshing. I could clearly taste and smell the mint and it was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience and I would def come again and recommend it to others too. Took a star off because it was pricey for the food served.

Ordered the Miam Miam Haze, hot fruit tea, cappuccino, and the truffle chocolate pancake. The Miam miam haze was light earl grey milk tea with light vanillaness, was very light and not very strong. Would get it again. The cappuccino was ok, tasted quite default but better than average. The fruit tea had a whole sour plum in it, so the entire thing just tastes like sour plum. Not good, could do with way way less sour plum or no sour plum at all. If I wanted plum I'd order plum tea or something. The truffle chocolate pancake was quite good, the pancake took 15 min to serve. The cream on the top is chocolate hazelnut whipped cream? With a ferrero roche and strawberries on top. The pancake is quite rich, the chocolate is ok, the portion is not too big. Price is $14. Each table comes with hand sanitiser, which is nice, especially with the pandemic. Overall might come back to try the other desserts maybe.

We ordered small bites for lunch. Crispy calamari rings are nice with the miso mayonnaise. Japanese fried chicken wings is just ok. Baked miso honey wings are actually good.

Nice ambient, located in the mall area. Prompt and proactive service by the waitresses. Like the dessert and the seafood black ink rice I ordered for this visit. Will try out other items in the menu in my next visit.

The food truly captured the essence of a French-Japanese restaurant! The prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the dishes. The customer service was excellent, with attentive staff always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place!
