The food was decent, but I had an unpleasant experience with the service. When I inquired whether the combination platter contained mayonnaise, I was repeatedly told that the items are completely randomized and that they wouldn't know what the chef would include. At the very least, they could have asked the chef to avoid serving any dish with mayonnaise. After dinner, I went to Chuan Bar, where the service and drinks were exceptional!
If you’re hoping for a table by the window, I recommend booking directly through their official website instead of using a third-party app and mentioning your request in the comments or special requests section. In terms of navigation, the restaurant is located high up in the UOB tower. Enter through the main entrance of tower 1, turn left, and take the escalator up to level 2. You will arrive at a tap card gantry area in front of the elevators. Inform the guard that you’re heading to the restaurant, and he will grant you access. From there, take the first set of elevators to the 38th floor, get off, and then switch to another set of elevators that will take you up to the 60th floor. Just make sure to use the correct elevators on the second leg of your journey, as some do not go up to the 60th floor.
I had a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and drinks! Nutmeg and Clove serve amazing cocktails alongside a fantastic dinner. The green beans and fried rice were both delicious. The steak stir-fry was wonderful, and the Dan Dan noodles were a highlight. I also loved the Year of the Tiger dessert—roar!!!
As a returning customer to this restaurant, I really appreciate the atmosphere, accessibility, and the great view. The service can be a bit slow when the place is crowded, but that's understandable. One highlight is the skilled waiter who refills the tea using a teapot with a long spout—it's quite a show to watch! The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable.
