Yizun Noodle - Singapore

The牛肉拉面 (beef noodles) here is wonderful. Surprisingly good, the soup is flavorful and the thinly sliced beef is perfectly seasoned, unlike the typical offerings you'll find in many noodle places in Singapore. This is a refreshing discovery; 拉面 (ramen) can truly be simple and clean. The 炸酱面 (fried sauce noodles) and 冷面 (cold noodles) are also delightful, with minimal garnishes that are not overly spicy, allowing the noodles to shine. The 口水鸡 (mouthwatering chicken) and 酱瓜 (pickled cucumber) are well-prepared and strike a great balance of flavors. Perhaps this is how food should be—clean, down-to-earth dishes that nourish the body and soul.

Excellent hand made noodles with soup or without soup. You can see the chef working the dough in to thin noodles or flat noodles with just hand movements. It's a good show. The portions are quite generous and prices are reasonable too. The thick mushrooms and meat soup is also wonderful.

Good comfort food especially on a rainy day. Love the dry beef noodle,when you have to mix the ingredients to your own preferences. The beef is really nice. Cold chicken is good too. Noodles was perfect. Service was fast and efficient. Authentic taste.

Authentic Xing Jiang beef noodles that is highly recommended. Ordered their signature clear beef soup noodles. The noodles were firm and straight. Tangy to the teeth. The clear beef broth was tasty and flavorful. However the beef portion was a bit dry and tough for my liking. The green in the noodles added a delightful refreshing flavor. Similarly the dry tomato noodles used the same firm straight noodles and the sauce was savory and with a strong tomato aftertaste. Beef wise was again too tough for my liking. Service was prompt and efficient. Ambience was clean, casual and cozy. Price wise was affordable and portion was big even for the small sized orders. Overall a good dining experience and authentic Xing Jiang taste.

The Yi Zun noodles with minced meat are incredibly delicious, and I really enjoy the sliced chicken as well; it’s packed with flavor. The Yu Zun noodles with sliced beef come in a light, refreshing broth. The restaurant is quite small, so it's a good idea to make a reservation to avoid any disappointment.
