One of the last places I would have expected to find authentic Mexican cuisine is in the state of Iowa while driving across the country. This restaurant was amazing! Be prepared for a bit of a wait, but trust me, it’s worth it. Having grown up around the Mexican community in Georgia, the aroma that hit me as soon as I walked in brought back so many memories. I love that they serve large cups of their delicious Jamaica (they have other drinks too, but that’s what I chose), and the food is prepared hot and fresh to order. I highly recommend you stop by and give this friendly eatery a try!

This restaurant is incredible! The food is outstanding, and the staff provides excellent service. I dined in this time, and everything was prepared fresh and served hot. I'm fully convinced that this is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. If you visit, you absolutely have to try the birria tacos—they're simply perfect. I'm definitely planning to come back more often because I was truly impressed!
