Feedback gevenI went out for a meal, and when my first order arrived, there was hardly any sauce on the wings. I asked the waiter, who was quite helpful, to add more sauce. About 10 minutes later, he brought a new order, which you can see in the picture below. While adding some sauce is fine, completely drenched wings that are almost inedible is another issue altogether. It's not a good sign when the kitchen staff seems passive-aggressive. This isn't how to run a restaurant.
The cocktails are decent, but if you prefer them a bit stronger, you might be disappointed. This is the Midwest, after all. Unfortunately, the food was served cold—not just mine, but also my date's. You can have all the ambiance, cleanliness, and loud TVs you want, but it doesn't change the fact that my meal was cold. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time at this chain restaurant; they rely on the hope that customers will be careless enough to spend money and trust a subpar brand to provide good service in South Dakota. You're better off going to places like Fryn Pan, Culver's, or Sickies instead. Ever had cold brisket? I have, and it's tough and chewy. That's a definite no for me. I suggest heading to Freddy's up the road instead. Additionally, I've noticed that their responses to negative reviews seem almost scripted, which only confirms my decision to stay away. Just a hard pass from me.
Sometimes, all you really crave is a platter of wings smothered in sauce, and this place definitely satisfies that desire. It's also great to have access to 100 TVs for sports fans. The menu offers a good variety of options for vegetarians and kids as well. However, like many restaurants, they seem to have high staff turnover, as my server often mentioned it was their first time there and didn’t always seem to be fully aware of the menu. While this isn’t a major issue, it’s something to keep in mind.
The food was delicious, and there are plenty of televisions to keep you entertained. The restaurant is spacious, offering ample seating with both regular tables and high-top tables, as well as a bar area.
This restaurant is situated in a decent location and has a pleasant exterior, but that’s where the positives end for me. During my visit, one of my spicy garlic wings had a long piece of what looked like glue on it, which was truly disgusting. I’ve included a photo of it in this review. Additionally, every time I order from this location, the wings arrive cold. Chicken is a meat that shouldn’t be undercooked or left sitting out for too long—this is basic food safety knowledge. I don’t understand why they consistently serve cold wings. Furthermore, the amount of sauce varies drastically; sometimes there’s not enough, and other times the wings are completely overwhelmed with it. The staff hasn’t been very friendly in my experience either. Even when the restaurant is nearly empty, I usually have to wait over 40 minutes for my food. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this location, and I likely won’t be returning.
