Camille's Sidewalk Cafe - Sioux Falls

I ordered a vanilla lavender latte with matcha instead of coffee and almond milk, and I also requested if she could blend it like a smoothie. However, I could barely taste the lavender, despite being charged for it. When I asked if she could add another pump of lavender, she looked at me as if I were from another planet and seemed uninterested in helping due to her scrubbing. The drink ended up being very watery and far from the thick smoothie texture I expected. I sincerely hope that the head manager or owner sees this and can work with this young woman to help her improve her customer service skills. As for vegetarian options, you can get anything on their menu without meat, and there are plenty of vegetables in their wraps, pizzas, and salads. They also offer alternative milk options for those with dietary restrictions.

I have been in to eat 3 times in the past couple weeks. The food is always amazing. What grosses me out is the womens bathroom. Each time I was there I used it, and just about left because of it. Someone needs to give that bathroom a thorough scrub down. The grime on the walls and around the toilet is disgusting! A little blue bench, which appears to be where you could set your things, is so gross. It just truly needs a scrub down, all surfaces, corners, the trashcan, etc

The takeout cake pastries were all incredibly fresh and delicious. They had an excellent texture and perfect creaminess. I highly recommend them!

We overheard him specifically instruct the staff not to add bacon, yet it was still included. Additionally, while they assured us the BBQ sauce was gluten-free, it turned out only the pizza crust was safe for me; the rest of the pizza was not gluten-free at all. This was my third visit, and each time, we've encountered issues. The service leaves much to be desired, and it seems they get our orders wrong 90% of the time. There seems to be a lack of attention to dietary restrictions, and they don't always make sure to avoid the ingredients we specifically ask to be left out. Overall, it has been a frustrating experience.

My favorite, favorite, favorite sandwich in the whole world is their Bangkok Thai Wrap. I order it to go often, and it's an easy pick up. I also love that they have a new location in the Empire Mall. Fresh ingredients and great food. A Sioux Falls staple that I hope is around for a long, long time!
