Goose Twigs - SISTER BAY

We loved this place! It's not a beachy hotel on the main street, it's a small quiet inn a few doors up from where everything was happening on the holiday weekend. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds super comfortable. My husband and I invited our adult son to join us at the last minute and the room with two queens was a perfect fit. On property parking, coffee shop/restaurant, and a beautifully landscaped patio for sitting outside. Goose and staff are right there for whatever you need. We will definitely be back!(I forgot to take pictures, we were too busy having fun in Sister Bay and Fish Creek)Rooms: Clean and spacious. Great shower for tall people! ;)Nearby activities: EVERYTHING is just steps down the block, including the beach and all restaurants.Safety: This place was quiet and felt safe.Walkability: Excellent location for not needing to drive unless you leave Sister Bay. And why would you?Food drinks: All the restaurants are just steps out the door. We liked Wild Tomato Wood Fired Pizza, Analog Coffee, Peach Barn Farmhouse Brewery and OF COURSE LL Johnson for Swedish pancakes that were like those I've had with my Swedish fam in Sweden. The store is amazing and the prices better than in Sweden.

This is our favorite place to stay in Door County. It’s located within walking distance of all the fun places. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. They bend over backwards to make sure your stay is excellent.

The room was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The keyless entry was a little intimidating at first, but we figured it out. Our only issue was the room had two beds and could accommodate up to four people, yet there was only two towels in the bathroom. Not a big deal since our daughter opted not to shower, but if we HAD wanted another, we're not sure who we would've contacted. We visited off season and no staff seemed to be around.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to return when the coffee shop is open and breakfast is available.

Perfect place to stay! Quiet, clean, eco friendly/modern and reasonable rates in the heart of downtown sister bay…. I won’t stay anywhere else again! Thanks to the great staff and owner for being so accommodating!

Friendly staff, comfy interior, milk choices for espresso drinks and 2 unisex bathrooms, both with changing tables for the dads out there.Update 2021 2022: I love staying here for Fall Fest! So much better than Roots Inn!
