The cruise director suggested trying a doughboy so the line was long. It was busy enough that there wasn't anyone actually helping customers, there was just an assembly line of people making doughboys and hanging them out. The store is a souvenir and a week stocked candy shop. The store looked nice and the limited contact I had with the employees was pleasant. You get the doughboys fresh out of the fryer so they are scalding hot. They look like a flatbread and taste like flattened doughnut sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. One is more than enough to share with someone.
Serving perfectly prepared fry bread. Make sure you get into the left line first to pay, and then hop into the right line for pickup. No true time of day to get in line as the place is constantly busy. Worth the wait, especially if you have a sweet tooth.
Nice little shop to stop for a great snack while walking around that cruise port area. Friendly staff was also a plus.
This place makes and serves doughboys (fried dough with cinnamon sugar, similar to beaver tails in Canada) they are fresh, tasty, and simply awesome.
