Το μπαλκονακι της Σκαλας

Went here for dinner in my first night in Skala. The friendly owner had earlier provided me directions so I thought to give a visit back. Had grilled sardines, a personal favourite in Lesvos. They gave me a complimentary ouzo next to the one I had ordered and a small chocolate ice-cream bar for dessert. Ate mutiple evenings, had an Estafado, and cuttlefish. Best restaurant in Skala Kallonis. We were here for 7 nights and dined here for 3 nights. The shrimp saganaki is just amazing, best starter ever. Had this every time. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. It felt special every time. Beef steak, pork lepidi and country lamb were brilliant. You've got to try this restaurant. For us, was not a pleasant experience eating at this restaurant, unfortunately. Generally, the food was ok, the people nice but what I really disliked was the octopus în vinegreta maybe it was fresh, but the taste was horible an unpleasant taste, of liver it is just my opinion, it was very hard to eat it. Finally, our bill was overcharged with much more that we were expected to be.. We understand and fully agree that we must pay for quality, for a good greek cullnary experience. But, even we were very curious about this location, my point of view is that his restaurant is unreasonably expensive, compared with other estaurants from skala kalloni.
