Laurentina: Harties - Skeerpoort

A firm favourite. We've been to all branches of this restaurant and the food never disappoints. The cocktail jugs are super reasonable and the food is consistently good. The mussel pot and chicken prego are definitely at the top of my list for food choices and the vibe on the weekend guarantees a good time.

The internet recommended Laurentina in Hartebeespoort on the way to Sun City. Despite there being disappointing supply issues with Laurenrina beer, the food was stellar, excellent, and generous. We had 2 hakes, one garlic herb, one medium peri peri, with hot peri peri mash chips and salad sides respectively. They were large, succulent, terribly flavourful. The other order was a mild peri peri 1/4 chicken (wing breast), chips veg. Again a large serving and spiced to perfection. Prices were fair: neither expensive nor cheap. We decided not to have dessert, but will certainly be back when next we pass this way!

Portuguese/Mozambique experience to the max. Informal and very popular restaurant offering great traditional dishes with tasty flavours and enougj spice. Great roadtrip eatery over a weekend. The live Latino band added to the ambiance and party feel. I recommend that you make a reservation to avoid disappointment. Only downside was the noise from the carwash situated right next to the seating area.

Went to Laurentina for lunch. Situated at the Chameleon Village opposite Upperdeck in Harties.... We booked a table for lunch which I suggest as this place is very popular and busy. Loved the vibe and ambiance is so Mozambique and festive. Also, the restaurant had a live Latin/Cuban band duo playing salsa type tunes live, they were awesome. We had jugs of R&R 's. The menu is a proper Portuguese-style menu with options various options to satisfy everyone 's taste. We indulged in prawns, baby spatchcock and espetada. The food was delicious and full of flavor. Would have liked Portuguese Breadroll and butter before the meals arrived. Waitress were great and efficient. I definitely recommend this place and would return for sure.
