The Priest's House - Skipton

This is a beautiful venue for a wedding. My son got married here in December. Although the weather was cold, the venue and the staff were exceptional. They truly helped make the day special. The meal served after the ceremony was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place for a wedding, though I suggest considering a month that's a bit warmer.

We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding in January. Our friends and family still rave about how perfect the atmosphere was and how wonderful the staff was throughout the day. We want to give a special thanks to Conor for all his assistance in planning, as well as to our host, who was so professional and made everything run smoothly. We truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food deserves a special mention as well; the chef and the team accommodated all our requests, and it was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend The Priest's House to any couple looking for an intimate wedding in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside!

As a seasoned photographer, I've had the pleasure of visiting many venues, but none compare to The Priest House. Its beautiful kitchen, rich character, and period charm are all set against the stunning backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales. Conor and his team consistently go above and beyond to provide impeccable service, and no request is ever too much trouble. We wholeheartedly recommend The Priest House for couples planning their wedding or for families celebrating special occasions.

I am not one to leave the reviews on social media, but this time I feel compelled to do so. my daughter and her fiancé have booked the priest's house for her high-time ceremony and high-time function. they have booked one of the Twilight packages, as ellis wanted to be intimate and personal at the very time. the high time took place around 17 o'clock, then everything went from this point until midnight. after the ceremony there were canapés and drinks, while pictures were taken. then we had the talk, followed by the buffet and disco. ok, so we now know the order of the dinge that it is time to check the service we receive from the location and personal. the location is absolutely stunning, we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather, but I really believe that they are pressed hard to find a place suitable for an intimate and personal high time. the place was set up to a very high standard and looked so inviting. you couldn't have done a single thing to make it more inviting. the owners have all gone through was attentive and responsive and this was worn until the actual day. every employee member there was again attentive and responsive, but it didn't feel like they were staff. it actually felt like they were all part of the ceremony and we were all there to celebrate while maintaining their professionalism. they were brilliant and are an absolute good for themselves. the priest's house is very happy to have people with this type of attitude and it reflects brilliantly on location and management. everything we demanded we came. the canapés, drinks and eating were excellent. the whole time just ran perfect and as ellis said to me, it was the best day of her life (previously! I would like to thank the priests' house for all the work they have done to make it a big day. I would recommend the priest house to anyone looking for a romantic and intimate venue for a high time.

The Priest House was absolutely the most perfect place for our dream wedding! Steve made every part of organising our wedding here a breeze. Nothing was too hard and there was always help on hand when needed. Mark! What a chef!!!! We had nothing but praise for his food, the presentation, the taste, the freshness of the produce, the portion size and the care that went into it all. We heard nothing but good things from all of our guests about how delicious the meal was! I was blown away by his flexibility to cater for the dietary needs of our guest. We couldn't have asked for a better chef! Kat and Connor were top notch. Kat was calm and led the way for all those little moments from when I needed to be ready to walk down the aisle to sorting my dress so that it flowed beautifully behind me. They both ensured our guest had enough drinks and tried to solve a mini guest issue which was really appreciated. Nothing was a problem for them! Their manner, professionalism and kindness where most appreciated. Lastly, the venue! What a stunning location. We are sure that we could not have been married in a nicer location. The Priest House where we had our ceremony was stunning. It needed little decoration and had a presence like no other. Our pictures reflect it. The grounds are also gorgeous; earthy and green. We managed to get some stunning shots that we can now treasure. The Priest House; Our heartfelt thanks go out to you all for making our day so special! We are so grateful!!
