Panera Bread - Skokie

This Panera is truly beautiful and has been recently renovated. There’s a bike rack outside and plenty of space inside.

I had an excellent chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado, mayo, and salad on sourdough bread. This sandwich was delicious, with the chewy texture of the sourdough perfectly complementing the nice chunks of chicken, salad, and avocado. The bacon added a flavorful touch, although I would have preferred slightly thicker slices. My brother-in-law ordered the beef on a toasted Italian bread with melted cheese and mayo. Overall, the food quality was very good.

If they believe that a salad is a healthy option, they should reconsider. The Caesar salad had such a strong chemical smell from preservatives that we had to throw it out. If they can't ensure the salads are made fresh, they should focus on their soups instead!

That's by far the worst panera I've ever had. I ordered a cream from chicken wild rice soup, caesar salad and a pecan braid. the suppe tasted like handsanitizer, the salate tasted like dripping, and the pecan braid was extremely dry. When I went to Mary, one of the manager, I told her about the aromen on my eating, and her answer was, I'm sorry, I don't know what to say, find out it yourself! I even asked her about a refund and she gave me no one. I am as disappointed and will come as soon as possible.
