Embellish the dinner..poached lobster and seafood scampi. Apps, onion soup..eh, not great, tasted like broth, no onions and missing melted cheese. The brussell sprout salad was good but rough over price for arrugala and brussell sprouts...$12! I'd skip the apps, there was a lot on leading actor.
Just had a nice dinner at the restaurant! We've been here for a few years and it's definitely a hidden treasure in this part of Maine. Beautiful view, wonderful atmosphere and an amazing staff. We are also looking forward to a show or two every season in the theatre and while they are delayed at the opening, we order our tickets tonight for a show in August! We also recognized our waiter from the past seasons and as an actor in some of the shows (due to Jacob, very pleasant service as always) and another waitress who was also in “Anne of Green Gables”. We just love it!!
The location is beautiful. The drinks menu is extensive and varied. The food this year is very good, perhaps not as good as in recent years, but the best meal you find around. I highly recommend combining dinner and a show in the theatre all the way, they will have your show tickets for you at dinner.
Another memorable evening spent with dear friends and loving family! Amazing service and the food...TDF! (And the wines and drinks weren't to shabby either! To another fantastic Lakewood season!
